The Process

Turn off the power supply to the machine. Also, disconnect the water supply by
turning off the supply valve. You can find this valve in the sink cabinet near the dishwasher.
Open the machine main door to remove the washer arm and the dish rack. The washer arm is usually retained by a screw. At times, these screws are reverse threaded, which means that you can loosen it by turning it clockwise.
After removing the washer arm and dish rack, you must remove the machine’s lower access panel. This panel is attached to the machine by several Phillips-head

Use ordinary tester to check whether the wires that are connected to the motor are live. If the tester lights up, the wires are live and you have not disconnected the power supply to the machine.
